Teachers in the Hale April 2025 Revision program

Dirk Gildenhuys – Maths Methods

Dirk is an experienced mathematics consultant having delivered programs in Methods on a number of campuses. He has extensive marking experience. Recently, he taught in the January Jump Start Program at Hale School and received a student rating of 98%.

Amy Bennett – Maths Applications

Amy is an experienced Maths Applications teacher and WACE marker. Her preparation is excellent, and she is skilled at clearly communicating what students need to know and do to maximise their results in exams. She recently delivered classes in Applications in the exam prep program on the Hale School campus in October2024 and received a student rating of 98%.

Chris De Haer - Maths Specialist

Chris has extensive experience delivering exam preparation programs. He has worked both as a teacher and head of learning at St Mary’s AGS and is currently working at Willetton Senior High School. He has been a WACE/ATAR marker for a number of years and has been a member of the Maths Applications examination panel. Chris recently delivered Maths Specialist courses at CCGS in July, receiving an average student approval rating of 95%.

Brodie Reid – Chemistry Year 12

Brodie is an experienced classroom teacher who has an excellent knowledge of the Chemistry curriculum. He is currently employed at Christ Church Grammar School. He most recently delivered a Chemistry class as part of the October 2024 program at Hale School and received a student approval rating of 99%.

Mat Winter – Chemistry Year 11

Mat teaches at Mount Lawley Senior High School and is the Science program coordinator at the school. He has significant marking experience. He is an experienced and talented teacher. Mat delivered the April 2024 exam prep program the Hale school campus for ATAR chemistry and received a student evaluation rating of 96%.

Damen Bradbury – Physics

Damen is a teacher at Applecross Senior High School. Damen first came to my attention in 2017 for his contribution in elevating the standard of physics in his school. He is an experienced presenter of exam preparation programs and is considered an engaging teacher. He recently delivered Physics Year 12 classes in the July holiday program at Hale in 2024 and received a student rating of 96%.

Ailsa Harris – Human Biology

Ailsa teaches Human Biology at Santa Maria College and is an excellent presenter. She is currently head of the department at the school. Ailsa has extensive experience teaching in our after-school exam prep programs at schools such as Applecross SHS and consistently receives student evaluation above 90%. In October 2024 she delivered the human biology component at Hale School and received the score of 96%.

Carl Owen – English Year 12, Year 11 and Essay Writing

Carl is an experienced and talented English teacher currently working at Melville SHS. He has taught exam preparation programs at Christ Church Grammar School, Hale School, and Mindarie Senior College for a number of years and regularly receives student evaluations above 90%. He received a student evaluation score of 97% most recently while teaching in the July 2024 exam preparation program at Hale School.

Craig Doyle - Literature

Craig teaches at St Hilda’s and has delivered superior exam prep classes with MMA for a number of years. He has presented classes in essay writing, English, and ATAR English and Literature and student reviews consider him an excellent presenter. Most recently he taught Literature classes in the January Jump Start Program at Christ Church Grammar School and received an average student evaluation score of 98%.

Josh Freeman – Study Skills and Middle School English

Josh is an experienced and engaging English teacher who is currently employed at Presbyterian Ladies’ College. He has delivered a range of courses for MMA over a number of years in English after school programs. He received a student rating of 95% when he delivered the middle school Study Skills program at Christ Church Grammar School in 2025.

Jordan Burt - English Years 7 and 10

Jordan is an enthusiastic English teacher who is currently employed at Melville SHS. He has come highly recommended by experienced teachers who have taught in our programs, and we look forward to him delivering these classes. He has also delivered English classes at Applecross and received a 94% student rating in Essay Writing classes he taught at Mt Lawley Senior High School in July 2024.

Nadia Forte - OLNA Reading/Writing

Nadia is a skilled and experienced English teacher currently employed at Chisholm Catholic College. She was a regular English teacher in the in term Master Classes at Christ Church Grammar School in 2024, and received a student approval score of 90% for her Term 3 English teaching in that program.

Sandi Mlinar – Maths Year 8 and 9

Sandi is a highly experienced maths teacher from St Hilda’s Anglican Girls’ School and is a valued part of the MMA’s Master Class program at Christ Church Grammar School. She is a skilled presenter and consistently receives from students’ evaluations above 90%. Recently, she received an average student evaluation of 92% for her middle school maths classes at Hale School in July 2024.

Sean Nicoli - OLNA Numeracy, Maths Year 10 and 7

Sean is an experienced mathematics educator who is currently delivering middle school maths classes in the Master Class program at Christ Church Grammar School. His teaching in the Term 3 of 2024 Master Classes resulted in an average student evaluation score of 94%.
