Teachers in the Hale July 2025 Revision program

Dirk Gildenhuys – Maths Methods Year 11 and 12

Dirk is an experienced mathematics consultant having delivered programs in Methods on a number of campuses. He has extensive marking experience. Recently, he taught in the January Jump Start Program at Hale School and received a student rating of 98%.    

Amy Bennett – Maths Applications Year 12

Amy is an experienced Maths Applications teacher and WACE marker. Her preparation is excellent, and she is skilled at clearly communicating what students need to know and do to maximise their results in exams.  She recently delivered classes in Applications in the exam prep program on the Hale School campus in April 2025 and received a student rating of 96%.  

Chris De Haer - Maths Specialist Year 11 and 12 and Maths Methods Year 12

Chris has extensive experience delivering exam preparation programs. He has worked both as a teacher and head of learning at St Mary’s AGS and is currently working at Willetton Senior High School.  He has been a WACE/ATAR marker for a number of years and has been a member of the Maths Applications examination panel.  Chris recently delivered Maths Specialist courses at CCGS in April 2025, receiving an average student approval rating of 96%.        

Sean Nicoli – Maths Applications Year 11, Maths Year 9 and Year 7 

Sean is an experienced mathematics educator who is currently delivering middle school maths classes in the Master Class program at Christ Church Grammar School. His teaching in the middle school April 2025 program at Hale resulted in an average student evaluation score of 91%.

Brodie Reid – Chemistry Year 12

Brodie is an experienced classroom teacher who has an excellent knowledge of the Chemistry curriculum.  He is currently employed at Christ Church Grammar School.  He most recently delivered a Chemistry class as part of the April 2025 program at Hale School and received a student approval rating of 95%.  

Karen Smith – Chemistry Year 11

Karen is an experienced Chemistry teacher from Applecross Senior High School, and is also the head of department at the school.  We look forward to her joining our teaching team.

Oli Eyles – Physics Year 11 and 12

Oli taught at Penhros College and is an experienced and enthusiastic Physics teacher with extensive marking experience.  He has also presented the Physics Master Classes at Christ Church Grammar School for many years. He has successfully delivered exam prep programs at both CCGS and Hale School and has consistently received excellent evaluations in the courses he delivers.  His most recent evaluation score for Physics in the Term 1 Master Classes at CCGS was 98%.

Danielle Edgecombe – Human Biology Year 11 and 12

Danielle is an experienced Human Biology teacher with the Department of Education. She has delivered a number of exam preparation programs in previous years, as well as the Human Biology Year 12 program at CCGS in Terms 1 and 4 2024. She also received a student evaluation score of 96% for the classes she delivered in the April 2025 program at Christ Church Grammar School.

Chris Winters – English Year 11 and 12

Chris is an experienced and talented English teacher who has been a Head of Learning Area for English.  He is currently employed at Guildford Grammar School.  He has come highly recommended and we look forward to him joining our teaching team.

Spencer Davis - Literature Year 11 and 12

Spencer is an accomplished English and Literature teacher who has taught at Christ Church Grammar School and is currently at St Hilda’s Anglican Girls School.  He has come highly recommended and we look forward to him joining our teaching team.

Tanusha Singh – Accounting and Finance Year 12

Tanusha teaches at Frederick Irwin A.S. She first came to our attention for elevating her school into the top ten schools for Accounting and Finance in the state based on ATAR results. Since then, she has run a number of programs, including the 2025 April Revision program at Christ Church Grammar School where her student approval rating was 92%. 

Lloyd Haskett - Economics Year 12

Lloyd teaches at Christ Church Grammar School where he is the acting head of department. In 2022 his students secured one exhibition and several certificates of distinction in the November ATAR exams. He regularly delivers after school and holiday exam prep programs and in April at Christ Church Grammar School he received a student approval rating of 97%. 

Gemma Slater – Study Skills and Middle School English

Gemma teaches with the Department of Education. She is a current WACE marker, and has delivered seminars in study skills and all levels of high school English for many years. She is also a key teacher in our in middle School English Term Master Class program and a sought after tutor.

Maree Sayers - Essay Writing and Middle School English

Maree is head of department at John Curtin College of the Arts, and is a highly experienced English teacher, with a range of knowledge of the high school English Curriculum.  Previously, she delivered middle school English classes in the April 2024 Hale holiday exam prep program and received student evaluation score of 95%.

Naomi Coffey - Maths Year 10 and Year 8

Naomi is a highly experienced maths teacher from Applecross SHS and is a valued part of the MMA’s Master Class program at Christ Church Grammar School. She is a skilled presenter and consistently receives from students’ evaluations above 90%.  Recently, she received an average student evaluation of 91% for her Year 10 Maths Class in the January Jump Start program at Hale.
