Teachers in the Christ Church July 2025 Holiday program

Leanne Russell – Maths Applications

Leanne is an engaging and experienced maths teacher employed at St Hilda's Anglican Girls School. She is currently Head of Department and has also received excellent feedback for the classes she has taught for MMA. Most recently, she received a student evaluation score of 93% from her Maths Applications Year 12 class in the April Holiday Program at Christ Church Grammar School.

Mr Dirk Gildenhuys – Maths Methods

Dirk is an experienced mathematics consultant having delivered programs in Methods on a number of campuses. He has extensive marking experience. Recently, he taught in the January Jump Start Program at Hale School and received a student rating of 98%.

Ms Ravinder Patel - Maths Specialist

Ravinder has previously taught at MLC and Guildford Grammar School before moving back to the Department of Education. She has marking experience and remains an active member of the Maths Association of WA. Ravinder has delivered programs for us for many years at all of our campuses. Most recently she delivered the Specialist program at Hale in July 2024, receiving an average student rating of 96%.

Seema Gookooluk – Chemistry

Seema is an experienced teacher at Presbyterian Ladies’ College. She has extensive experience in classroom and tutoring settings, and is our current teacher for Term 2 Master Classes at Christ Church Grammar School. We look forward to her joining our holiday program team.

Damen Bradbury – Physics

Damen is a teacher at Applecross Senior High School. Damen first came to my attention in 2017 for his contribution in elevating the standard of physics in his school. He is an experienced presenter of exam preparation programs and is an engaging teacher. He recently delivered Physics Year 12 classes in the April holiday program at Hale and received a student rating of 95%.

Shane Willshire – Human Biology and Biology

Shane is an experienced Human Biology and Biology teacher working at Chisholm C. College, and he is a regular teacher in our programs. He most recently delivered Human Biology classes at Hale School in October 2024 and received a score of 98%.

Gemma Slater - English

Gemma teaches with the Department of Education. She is a current WACE marker and has delivered seminars to both teachers and parent groups focusing on the relationship between the syllabus document and the examination paper. Gemma has delivered English classes for many years. Her teaching of Year 12 English in the Hale October 2024 program was awarded a satisfaction score of 94%.

Craig Doyle - Literature

Craig teaches at St Hilda’s and has delivered superior exam prep classes with MMA for a number of years. He has presented classes in essay writing, English, and ATAR English and Literature and student reviews consider him an excellent presenter. Most recently he taught Literature classes in the April Program at Hale and received an average student evaluation score of 98%.

Mr Lloyd Haskett - Economics

Lloyd teaches at Christ Church Grammar School where he is the acting head of department. In 2022 his students secured one exhibition and several certificates of distinction in the November ATAR exams. He regularly delivers after school and holiday exam prep programs and in April at Christ Church Grammar School he received a student approval rating of 97%.

Spencer Davis - Essay Writing

Spencer is an accomplished English and Literature teacher who has taught at Christ Church Grammar School and is currently at St Hilda’s Anglican Girls School. He has come highly recommended and we look forward to him joining our teaching team.

Josh Freeman - Study Skills

Josh is an experienced and engaging English teacher who is currently employed at Presbyterian Ladies’ College. He has delivered a range of courses for MMA over a number of years. He received a student rating of 94% when he delivered the middle school study skills program at Christ Church Grammar School in January 2025.
