Teachers in the April 2026 Exam Prep Program at CCGS

Dr Leanne Russell – Maths Applications Year 11 and 12

Leanne is an engaging and experienced maths teacher currently employed at St Hilda’s Anglican Girls School.  She regularly receives excellent student feedback, including a 100% score when teaching the Maths Applications 12 program at CCGS last July.

Ms Hilda Parker – Maths Applications Year 12

Hilda is an experienced Applications and Methods teacher currently employed at Swan Christian College.  She has a demonstrated ability to teach and extend students in their mathematical subjects.  She taught the January 2026 Maths Applications Year 12 program in January and achieved a student evaluation score of 92%.

Ms Sheila Greenaway – Maths Methods Year 11 and 12

Sheila is an experienced mathematics consultant who taught for many years at Rossmoyne SHS, and has delivered a number of after school programs for MMA.  She received a student evaluation score of 96% for her teaching of Maths Methods Year 12 in the Hale 2026 April program.

Mr Tim Oates - Maths Specialist Year 12

Tim has been a head of department at Woodvale Secondary College and has had significant WACE/ATAR marking experience. He has run exam preparation programs at a number of northern suburbs schools and is considered an excellent presenter. He has also presented previously in Mt Lawley programs and received student evaluation scores above 90%. He is currently teaches at Balcatta Senior High School. 

Mr Chris Winters – English Year 12

Chris is an experienced and talented English teacher who has been a Head of Learning Area for English.  He is currently employed at Guildford Grammar School.  He last taught in the July 2025 program at Hale and received a student evaluation score of 93%.

Ms Gemma Slater - English Year 11, Study Skills

Gemma teaches with the Department of Education. She is a current WACE marker and has delivered seminars to both teachers and parent groups focusing on the relationship between the syllabus document and the examination paper. Gemma has delivered English classes for many years and has always received excellent feedback. 

Ms Rebecca King - Essay Writing

Rebecca is an enthusiastic English teacher with substantial experience in delivering holiday programs for students, and has many years of teaching experience.   We are pleased to have her return to our programs after some time away.

Mr Craig Doyle – Literature Year 11 and 12

Craig teaches at St Hilda’s and has delivered superior exam prep classes with MMA for a number of years. He has presented classes in essay writing, English, and ATAR English and Literature and student reviews consider him an excellent presenter.  Most recently he taught Literature classes in the January 2026 course at Christ Church Grammar School and received a student approval rating of 99%. 

Mr Mat Winter - Chemistry Year 12 

Mat teaches at Mount Lawley Senior High School and is the Science program coordinator at the school. He has significant marking experience as well as in delivering exam prep programs. He delivered classes in the April holiday program the Hale school campus and received a student evaluation rating of 93%. 

Ms Seema Gookooluk - Chemistry Year 11

Seema is an experienced teacher at Presbyterian Ladies’ College.  She has extensive experience in classroom and tutoring settings, and has taught the majority of our Term 2 and 3 Master Classes at Christ Church Grammar School in 2025.  She also received a student evaluation score of 100% for her Year 11 Chemistry presentation in the January 2026 holiday program at Hale School. 

Dr Roy Skinner – Physics  Year 11 and 12

Carl has had a distinguished career teaching Accounting and Finance at Corpus Christi College, and has published study resources to assist students achieve better results.  Carl has been known to MMA for a number of years and participated in a range of after school classes.  We look forward to his teaching in this holiday program.

Mr Shane Willshire - Human Biology Year 12 and Biology Year 12

Shane is an experienced Human Biology teacher at Chisholm College, and a regular teacher in our programs. In the Ashdale April 2026 program, students awarded Shane an average rating of 97% for his Human Biology and Biology classes.

Mr Lloyd Haskett - Economics

Shane is an experienced Human Biology teacher at Chisholm College, and a regular teacher in our programs. In the Ashdale April 2026 program, students awarded Shane an average rating of 97% for his Human Biology and Biology classes.
